Why do you love to paddle?
The feeling of being out on the water and the freedom it offers is over powering. I have a deep respect for Outrigger and the people involved in it, pushing myself in testing elements and that feeling of reflection on what’s been achieved once my feet touch the sand again.
What Club do you paddle with?
Geelong
About Me:
New company owner of Outrigger at one with the elements. Outrigger Clothing worn off the water.Product launch @ Hamilton Island June 08. Hope to see you there.

That sound great, this is my 8th Ham-o and and you will love the event formatt and this country. Not any surf in those islands, to far up north but plenty of wind driving across the ocean, so soild wind swells, great for OC1 & OC6.. I wish I was headin down under for the race! Work has me slammed right now so maybe next year.

As far as getting the word out, part of it is viral. just keep telling people and it will be a start. Also use the pages of the community that are already established: our site, OC Paddler, Y2Kanu, Mindy's pages, the outrigger forum on Oahu, Rambo's page, etc... Just drop in and pass the word. Even email the heads of the clubs and let them know what you have to offer.

Mahalo,
Richard

Yep, all the inland team are coming with Eleri the only one from Footscray in our mixed OC6. She is the only open paddler in our canoe. Bondy and I are going to paddle 8km OC2 master then 12km OC1 master on the Saturday. I toyed with the idea of entering open so we could maximise our chances but ckickened out. Pulling out Tony's bolt together for the race. Putting the girls through a sprint session tomorrow in the OC6 and going through the turns for them as they are paddling with Wendy and Janine at Penrith.
