Why do you love to paddle?

to overcome my phobia with the ocean..hehe.....Fitness, adrenaline, drive, travelling to places for regattas with my team mates from freo, meeting people, oh just enjoying every moment of it

Yeah hopefully will meet you down at the Nationals. Umm as for the weda we've had sum sun however still cold other times it's like is Summer here finally????!!!! then we'd end up with a cold freezing, wet & windy day but we're all looking forward to when we finally do get summer. Wow Perth... that a long way from Mangere Bridge. Worlds are in Tahiti next year... they are in the process of trialling here. We're just startign up the AROCA 10km series with the first one at Maraetai on Saturday. Been a bit cold but it's warmer now. They say the coastline around Perth is pretty spectacular, do you paddle open ocean or sheltered?

freo should try and come over for next years Va'a Moana. we will have the Savaii challenge (island to island = 40-60km round trip) up and running along with our races in Apia (main city). it would be a pretty awesome course, it be like a mini Molokai. happy paddling in the cold, hope there is enough light as well.
