thankful

sitting in the water
blown by the oceans breeze
waiting for the waves
endure the chill of winters freeze

the sun hasn't risen
but my smile is a mile wide
in anticipation
of the canoes morning glide

glassy is the water
refreshing is the morning air
the rhythm of the paddle
the blessing of my VA A affair

Clean

One thing we all can do regardless of what language we speak, is to
teach ourselves and the people around us to not litter. We as humans
can make a decent impact on society by making it a habit to dispose
of litter properly. Recycling can be as natural as turning
a light on when we enter a room and turning it off when we exit the room.
We must not take natural beauty for granted and need to preserve it.
