Profile Information

Why do you love to paddle?

I love the water, l love the sport, l love the culture. I have made some lifetime friends and have had some amazing experiences paddling. Every day I'm on the water with my team mates, l learn something new.

What Club do you paddle with?

Melbourne Outrigger Canoe Club

About Me:

This year I'm a senior Master, but l still love to paddle in any age group and on any type of outrigger. I really enjoy mixed teams. I steered the 16km at hamo last year and kissed the rocks ever so gently, steered in 3-4 metre swells at mooloolaba nationals this year and that was a buzz. I usually sit in seats 1, 2, or steer but l don't care where l sit as long as l'm on the water.

Look me up and come for a paddle when you come to NZ, I live in Auckland. I go to Melbourne now and again & will be there at the end of Sept 09, as I have family living there, it'll be awesome going for a paddle over there. Are you going to Raro for Vaka Eiva?

2 years ago at Papeete, Tahiti airport. 1:00 am in the morning and was bloody hot. My two cousins turn-up did not know who they were expecting at the airport. Dad and I wasn't expecting to see them either. Haven't seeing them for 28 years.
