- Why do you love to paddle?
- It brings great joy to my life and a smile to my face. I love the kinetic meditation and where it takes my head. I love the collective effort it takes to get the canoe pulsing, the sheer rush and the closeness to others that comes in digging deeply together. The paddlers are spirited, embracing, full of warmth and energy; dig the culture (or is that sub culture haha) and the sunshine kissing my face. Lest we forget: smiles, travel, racing, paddle jokes and pranks, fun, aloha and ohana. I've always appreciated beautiful waters, but now I am a part of it. I feel blessed that paddling found me.
