It's a big time for everyone down here at the moment - we are all busy training, racing for next year's nationals. The invitation is also extended to you and your crew if you guys make it down here to come out on the water with us as well - it would be a blast!

Will that be too late for you? Actually, next year would probably work best for me. I should be wrapping up my pre-med requirements by then and awaiting med school acceptance. By the way, what's your occupation? Are you a marine biologist? I'm sure your job must bring you near the ocean, if not, in it!

I was reconsidering our snowboarding trip in January. I have a hard time parting with my gear and equipment. I'll probably hold off on snowboarding in January and go during my spring vacation. I'll probably be at Mammoth. Will it be possible for you to join us there or is heavenly better? Its no problem for me to meet you at heavenly. Let me know, what works best for you.

It would be a blast to have you come down to Mammoth also, that's if it fits your schedule. New Zealand sounds very tempting. I can definitely race on the 15th of February. How long is the race? Do you have an approximation of the overall cost? Is your itinerary set?

You're just the world traveling canoe paddler! Now, snowboarding at Heavenly sounds really tempting. I have a small problem with regards to my snowboarding equipment. I'm actually on my way to Chile. I leave on Dec. 17 - Jan 2. We're flying out of Honolulu to Dallas then to Miami and direct to Santiago. When we return we fly into LAX. I wanted to leave my snowboarding equipment with friends in California but unfortunately we're taking 2 different routes. I don't feel like hauling my equipment and gear down to Chile. I'm sure, it would disappear in a heart beat! I guess, my last resort would be to rent equipment and gear. I've been so spoiled with having my own gear all this time...don't know what its like to rent. I was planning on going snowboarding during my spring vacation. Hope the snow is good this year. When is your race in New Zealand? I've been there twice, but haven't stepped foot in a canoe down there. It'll actually be there summer during that time, right? There's a possibility that I could handle the climate there...LOL! I'm currently a full time pre-med student and a math tutor at my college. If it fits my schedule, hey, I'm game! OK, will play it by ear with your OC-1 offer for January.

I've decided that this little hawaiian better compete in warm water races...LOL! Thanks for the offer...I might just have to take you up on it one these days. I just need to build the courage to paddle in california during the winter. Its a challenge for me to be in your waters during the summer...so you probably won't be hearing from me in awhile regarding that topic!LOL I can definitely see myself snowboarding during the winter but canoe paddling is definitely out of my league at this point in time. We might head up your way for a few days. Maybe we could get together for lunch or dinner at soup plantation or olive garden. It would be nice to get together again! Let me know, if it fits your schedule and we'll go from there. Yes, feel free to use my OC-1 or kayak anytime. I don't have the newest equipment, especially my kayak...could use some TLC!LOL Sorry for responding so late. I've been really busy with work, school and my marathon training!

Why do you love to paddle?: Out on the ocean, away from cell phones, with good friends, great locations for paddling...why wouldn't you love to paddle!?

About Me:: Love any excuse to get out on the water....plan on doing Catalina and Molokai every year. Would love to get down to Hamilton as often as possible.
