Its always a pleasure to hear from you! Please don't apologize for not keeping in touch. I've been neglecting this website as well. As of 2 weeks ago I wrapped up another semester...its such a great feeling! I went on an Alaskan Cruise last week...it was heaven on earth! If you ever have a chance to take a cruise, definitely take it up. Its the only way to take a true vacation...we weren't ready to go home.LOL Today was my 2nd day of summer school. I have a really good biology teacher from Texas. He teaches only during the summer at university of hawaii. He's a great bio teacher that is very dynamic. He definitely enjoys what he does...he's been teaching bio for 41 years. Go figure! Wow a 120 km race...that's pretty long. You must be in shape! Good luck and let me know how it goes.
With lots of Aloha,
Monty
Yes, do put it on your to do list. I'm sure one of these days real soon you'll have the opportunity to see some snow. Its always sooooooo exciting to get a new OC-1. I remember vividly when I got my first brand new oneman! All I wanted to do was paddle it. I look forward to seeing pictures of your new oneman!
Have fun,
Monty
I will definitely take lots of pictures for you! I'm sure you'd fall in love with snowboarding its more addicting than paddling. One of these years you should join us at Mammoth...its sooooooo much fun! Have a great time on the Gold Coast. I can't believe you haven't seen snow yet!
Lots of love,
Monty
I love your new pictures! I haven't been in the water since Molokai which was in September of last year. I'm just way too busy to enjoy paddling at the moment. I try to get some running in here and there between exams. Yes, I absolutely miss our conversations on this website and through e-mail. Life just gets so demanding and hectic. We need to make more effort to stay in contact on a regular basis. I actually leave on Thursday to go snowboarding over springbreak at Mammoth Mountain in California. I can't wait to blow some stress on those slopes...LOL! Wish you could be there! Hope you're thoroughly enjoying teaching!
Love you lots,
Monty
I'm so glad you're not affected by the fires or the floods! I apologize for not being in contact with you as well. I've just been really busy with everything under the sun...the same old, yadda, yadda!LOL Life doesn't change with me much..LOL! I can't believe you're able to squeeze in paddling with such a busy schedule. I had to give up paddling for awhile immediately after Molokai...just not enough time for fun things nowadays. It was great hearing from you!
Stay safe,
Monty
How are you? I've heard fires are going wild all over Australia. Hope its far from you!
Aloha,
Monty
how long time without news from you............ I am ok but it is 20 days that i cannot paddle because i am always too busy.
My race was so good, and i hope to see you and your team next year in my race.
There was 43 OC1/surfski on the water, the maximun this year in Italy, and the race was with 5 meters waves, wow...... But organize a race it is a stresssssss. What about you? Tell me news.
A kiss
Guido
Thank you,
Monty
PS Keep up the great work and you'll definitely see the world from a new perspective! It'll be a taste of heaven.
Thanks for your encouraging words! My take home quiz went really well. You definitely deserve the best at this point in time, especially after what you've been through within the past 3 years. I hope life just keeps on getting better and sweeter for you everyday! Sounds like you have a great job...way to go!
Lots of Aloha,
Monty
I'm so happy for you! Yes, life has been quite brutal to me lately. Its tough juggling school, work and my marathon training. Are you teaching? There's nothing like having your own classroom and being the sole person in control! It'll definitely feel strange at first. I'm sure, you'll have no problems getting into the groove of teaching! GTG do my math take home quiz. Its been great hearing from you!
Love you loads,
Monty
