Are you comming up to Toronto? I'm planning to do your race next year, we are too tied up this year to come, I can't even get to NYC, luckily there is a small race in Rochester.
No promises but I'll try to get a couple of paddlers to come out with me next year to Maine. Hope to see you this July in TO or perhaps at Kent in Sept.

It's sort of nuts because, as a former bicycle racer, I know many people who have slapped down $4000 or more on a road bike and then be forced to deal with idiots in cars all day long. I keep telling them there's even more fun out on the ocean and its much less likely that you'll get run over.

Of course there is the occasional bonehead in a 60ft Hatteras.

Yeah the ice is gone but the water and wind are still cooooold. We had our OC-2 out this past weeekend and I've been knocking the winter rust off making the transition from the erg back to the boat. It is great to be back on the water.
We are planning to return to Kent this May. We are having some babysitting issues so we may have to bring the kids but we'll be there.

Eastern Outrigger , located on the coast of Maine is an " official" Outrigger Connection canoe repair shop. After attending a two week long, hands on clinic with Milan Tresnak of Outrigger Connection in Kailua , Oahu we have learned from the "master" one of his many skills.
