The Annual GOLD COAST CUP is on again. This is a CHANGE-OVER race run along the beuatiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. The Gold Coast is a prime tourist destination here in Australia.
Surf, sand and great water to paddle in.
Get a team together and look at holidaying here while you race. This race is looking at expanding into a week-long festival of paddling. OC1, SUP's, 6 mans etc. Get over here while our dollar is down.

We are building up to the State Marathon Titles which is the last race of the Grand Prix season down here. Should be a great weekend at Ettalong with our hosts being Te Ika Nui, a lovely club of paddling enthusiasts on the NSW Central Coast.
Many clubs will pull up stumps after this race as a few others paddle though into the winter (brrrh) to prepare for Hamilton Island.
It has been a fun season down here with challenging races, in mostly good conditions.

The Gold Coast Cup has been run and gone. Great give-a-ways with one lucky paddler winning a new OC1.
Northcliffe Open mens crew won (despite paddling the race down a paddler) from Mooloolaba Open men.
Surfers Paradise were victors in the Open womens field from Mooloolaba Open women.
Team whitsunday won the Mixed division.
Great swells made this a memorable race with 35 kms of the 43km course downhill.
