Molo Solo.

Just wondering if there is still talk about shifting this race and seperating Ski's from Outriggers. Getting serious and selling my beloved fishing boat so I can go next year. I have been told it is the most prestigious single outrigger race in the world so I want to do it once before I am too old to make the distance. A couple of guys I know from OZ going over this year. So has anyone got any goss?

I`m with you on that one Clarkie, I`ve been wanting to do the Solo for years , maybe join you on the starting line next year.

I hope so Eric, depends if I can sell my fishing boat, then talk Rambo into coming with me and the missus as our personal tour guide. He will owe me a favor after I crew for him at this years Red Cross Murray Marathon, he is doing 404km solo.

So what about the race being split, two races this year it seems but what will happen next year? Need to plan 12months ahead if I am going to get there.

it was split this year, although there will be a one man divison at the epic race on may 18th to accomodate those who could not rebook flights, not sure about next year, see if you can find manny's email adress on the paa website (www.paahawaii.com i think, not completely sure though) and send him an email, he's running these races i belive

The Pa'a Solo is on April 27th. The Epic Solo is on May 18th.
